There’s something rather special about a village hall.

It’s a place to meet old friends, make new ones, share a cuppa, celebrate special occasions, have a laugh…. and occasionally put the world to rights!

Here in Sheepstor, we’re lucky to have a hall at the heart of our community.

So, whether you’ve been coming along for years or have never stepped through the door, we’d love to see you.

We were delighted to host Blooming Well’s first Nature Inspired Craft Morning here at Sheepstor Village Hall. 🌿✨

It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying a morning of creativity, learning new skills and spending time together over lunch.

A huge congratulations to the Blooming Well team and everyone who led and took part in the sessions. We’re so pleased our hall could provide the space for such a positive community event.

Ninebarrow concert at St Leaonards Church, Sheepstor, Friday April 10th at 7.30pm!

Ninebarrow will be back with us in April to promote their new album. I know that some of you have already purchased tickets for the event from their website, but for those who haven't, wish to purchase more, or want to pass the info onto friends, I've attached the current press release with the booking details. Please be aware that we are limited to a maximum of 100 seats, as we will not be using the Lady Chapel as an overflow. Already over 50% have sold, so you need to get your skates on! I don't wish to tempt providence but all their previous concerts with us have been sell-outs.

Doors will open at 6.30pm, with refreshments as usual available from that time, hopefully for a generous donation from you! Car parking will be signposted. The concert will start at 7.30pm, with a 20min interval at halftime. Tickets are £17.00 in advance, £20.00 on the door if there are any left!

Although their website only charges a minimum fee on credit card transactions, for those who still prefer to use cash/cheque/BACS please contact me via the details below to arrange a purchase.

All profits will be shared between SVH (Sheepstor Village Church) and FOSLCS (Friends of St Leonards Church, Sheepstor).

🚫 Quiz Night – Canceled 🚫

Unfortunately, the Quiz Night at Sheepstor Village Hall scheduled for Friday 13th February has been canceled.

We’re really sorry for any disappointment this may cause and appreciate your understanding. 💛

Did anyone else spot the aurora on Monday night?!

We were lucky enough to see a beautiful aurora over Sheepstor on Monday night. Did anyone else catch it, or manage to get any photos? We’d love to hear and see what others saw.
