🤸‍♀️ We ♥️ to play (possibly too much 😉) That's why we're pressed so hard for the new investment for the play area on Chesney Fields. But it's really important that money is well spent on the equipment and changes that children and young people want.

🗣️Please come along to speak to the project team so you and your children and grandchildren have a say and if you can like and share these details into other local groups🙏

We've pushed for a long time to get Chesney Fields upgraded and are really pleased that it's one of the spaces that will benefit - now we need YOUR views on what the new play area should look like!

💙 Brilliant to see the Lions Minster of York providing prostate cancer screening at Foxwood Community Centre - we know that some men who are worried may nevertheless struggle to come forward for routine testing so anything that can make that easier is really welcome. We talked to the team yesterday morning about how we might expand this community provision into other areas of the ward too.

Council officers have been out to Chesney Fields promptly this morning to clear the huge amount of mess left behind by the group camped here over the weekend. Thank you to our officers for their quick work on this!

We're working closely with the council to find a better solution for the future.
