The Grenada National Sports Council and the St. Andrew Parish Sports Council proudly congratulate Johann Jeremiah, one of St. Andrew's outstanding young cricketers, on his selection to the 16-member West Indies Academy squad for the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka from June 3–27, 2026.

This remarkable achievement reflects Johann's dedication, perseverance, and commitment to the sport.

As he joins the region's top emerging talent to compete against the Sri Lanka Emerging Players, he continues to inspire the next generation of athletes in St. Andrew and across Grenada.

We wish Johann every success as he represents Grenada and the West Indies on this important developmental tour.

The Grenada National sports Council proudly extend best wishes to Mr. Shawn Louis, who is set to represent Grenada at the Full-Bore Shooting Championship 2026, taking place April 27 – May 2, 2026.

This marks an exciting moment as Full-Bore shooting continues to emerge as one of the newer disciplines within the sport locally signalling growth, diversity, and expanded opportunities for Grenadian athletes on the international stage.

There is always a sense of pride in seeing the Grenada flag flying high in shooting competitions, and we are confident that Mr. Louis will represent with focus, discipline, and excellence.

The Grenada Gun and Rifle Association (GGRA) extend its full support and wishes Mr. Louis every success throughout the championship.

The National Sports Council extends its warmest congratulations to St. Andrew Anglican Secondary School on an extraordinary and historic achievement at the 2026 Intercollegiate Championships, capturing both the Boys’ and Girls’ Division titles.

This remarkable double victory stands as a landmark moment in Intercol history and reflects the school’s exceptional preparation, athletic excellence, and unified team spirit.

We also commend Grenada Boys’ Secondary School for an outstanding performance, securing second place overall, and demonstrating resilience, competitiveness, and pride throughout the championships while Presentation Brothers College placed third.

Special recognition is extended to the schools that distinguished themselves in the Girls’ Division:
St. David Catholic Secondary School for an impressive second-place finish
St. Joseph’s Convent, St. George’s for also earning a third-place finish, showcasing determination and consistency.

The National Sports Council applauds all athletes, coaches, and school communities whose dedication, sportsmanship, and commitment to excellence made the 2026 Intercollegiate Championships a truly memorable and inspiring event.
