The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Export Development Announces Appointment of Lyndeon George-Bellamy as Chief of Protocol

St. George's, Grenada – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Export Development is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Lyndeon George-Bellamy as Chief of Protocol effective June 1, 2026.
Mrs. George-Bellamy brings more than fifteen years of executive management and leadership experience across the fields of hospitality management, event planning and management, communications, protocol and stakeholder engagement. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence, strategic leadership, and service delivery.
In her role as Chief of Protocol, Mrs. George-Bellamy will oversee matters relating to diplomatic protocol, coordinate official state and diplomatic engagements, support relations with the diplomatic corps, and ensure that all official ceremonies and events conducted by the Government of Grenada adhere to established diplomatic standards and international best practices.
Prior to this appointment, Mrs. George-Bellamy served as Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Specialist within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Legal Affairs, Labour and Consumer Affairs, where she strengthened key stakeholder partnerships and led public engagement initiatives that enhanced ministry visibility and outreach.
She also spent more than a decade as Entity Manager at the Mango Bay Group of Companies (Island Caterers Ltd.), directing multi-site operations and managing teams across several departments while delivering high-quality services to government officials, corporate clients, and international guests.
Mrs. George-Bellamy holds a Master of Science in Business Management (Marketing and Sales) from Edinburgh Napier University, an Executive Diploma in General Management from The University of the West Indies, a Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Barbados Institute of Management and Productivity.
Her professional development includes specialized training in Bilateral Diplomacy, Protocol and Etiquette, Corporate Governance, Human Resource Management, Labour and Administrative Law, and Digital Marketing.
