Thank you, Ghana, for coming together to honour our gallant teachers at the grand durbar of the 2024 Ghana Teacher Prize.

As emphasized in my remarks, we acknowledge that truly valuing teachers' voices requires more than policies. It demands cultivating a culture of respect, trust, and collaboration within schools and communities. If we remain silent and allow those seeking power to manipulate our profession, lower standards, and denigrate teaching compared to other fields, it undermines us all.

Congratulations to Fuseina Fuseini and all her fellow award winners. May you all continue shining brightly as you serve Mother Ghana through this noble profession.

October 5 is finally here with us as we honor and celebrate our devoted teachers for their selfless and dedicated service to Ghana.
