GOODWILL MESSAGE TO ALL NDC CONSTITUENCY YOUTH ASPIRANTS
Dear Comrades,
As nominations officially open for our party's Constituency Elections, I look at the vibrant energy surging through our ranks and cannot help but reflect on my own journey. Years ago, when I took that leap of faith to contest as a constituency executive, I remember the nervous excitement, the sleepless nights, and the relentless fire in my belly. I knew then what you know now: real change isn't requested from above; it is forged at the grassroots. Stepping into that arena was one of the most defining decisions of my life, and today, I salute every single one of you bold enough to step forward.
The role of Constituency Youth Organizer is not a mere title on a ballot; it is the absolute engine room of our party's momentum. The youth are the heartbeat, the courage, and the driving force of the National Democratic Congress. Leading them requires vision, deep resilience, and an uncompromising dedication to the umbrella.
Now, more than ever, the NDC needs committed, tried, and tested leaders.
We saw what organized youth power can do. The Green Army, which we mobilized to march our party and HE John Dramani Mahama to victory in the 2024 general elections, proved beyond doubt that when young people are structured, motivated, and given purpose, no force can stand in our way. That same energy must not fade now that victory has been won; it must be sharpened. Now, more than ever, we need to make the Green Army more attractive to young people, so that it remains the ready, enabled force we call on as we march toward Victory 2028.
We stand at a pivotal moment where the aspirations of millions of young Ghanaians depend on our ability to organize, unite, and inspire. The journey toward Victory 2028 does not start in two years; it starts right now, first in our branches, then our constituencies, and every corner of the nation. It demands organizers who are ready to walk the dusty tracks, engage the undecided, lift our young activists, and convert energy into organized, unstoppable political strength.
When you pick up those nomination forms, do so with immense pride and clear purpose. Wear your dedication as a badge of honour. You are not just entering an internal contest; you are stepping up to answer a higher call to service for our party and our country.
Rise to the occasion, trust in your capacity to lead, and let us marshal the youth to secure victory.
