FADED LOVE MEMORIES
Whispers of the past linger on,
Faded memories, like autumn leaves, gone.
A bittersweet longing in my heart,
For moments lost, and love that never departs.
The ever-sweet love, now lost in time
The pain of remembering, memories left behind
Standing here, with a fading smile
Hiding the heartache, all the while
Tears fall like the rain, upon my face
Washing away the joy, leaving only space
For echoes of laughter, now but a distant past
Aching to relive, what will forever last
Shadows of what we had, still remain
A ghostly reminder, of love's sweet pain
In dreams, I see your face so clear
But wake to find, only tears
My heart pierced by the shards of pain
