🚜 ROADS INSPECTION AT KISSEMAN 🚧

Earlier today at 12:00 PM, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Christian Tetteh Badger, together with officers from the Municipal Urban Roads Department, conducted an on-site inspection of the ongoing road construction project at Kisseman (Dan Blessco area).

As active physical works kick off, contractor teams are currently executing the ground-leveling and sub-base preparation stage to build a solid foundation for durable paving.

This project reflects the Assembly's continuous commitment to improving road connectivity, enhancing public safety, and facilitating smooth vehicular movement across the municipality.

HAPPENING NOW: 2027 FEES & RATES CONSULTATIVE MEETINGS

The Budget Committee of the Okaikwei North Municipal Assembly (ONMA) has commenced a crucial consultative meeting with ratepayer groups, associations, and transport/trade unions across the municipality.

This engagement is aimed at deliberating on the proposed 2027 Fees and Rates to ensure fair, transparent, and participatory revenue collection for sustainable municipal development.

📍 Venue: Main Assembly Hall
👥 Stakeholders: Ratepayer Groups, Trade Associations, Business Unions, & Community Leaders

MCE LEADS MORNING CLEAN-UP ON N1 HIGHWAY

This morning, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Christian Tetteh Badger, joined the Environmental Health Officers and Sanitation Team of Okaikwei North for a clean-up exercise along the N1 Highway.

The Mission:
Clear waste and plastic litter
Restore the dignity of our major road

The N1 Highway is a symbol of our city's image, and keeping it clean is a shared responsibility. The Hon. MCE has consistently emphasised that "nobody will clean it for us; we must do it ourselves"
