HON. ISAAC ADJEI MENSAH JOINS MUSLIM COMMUNITY IN DABOASE FOR EID AL-ADHA PRAYERS
The Member of Parliament for Wassa East Constituency, Hon. Isaac Adjei Mensah , joined the Muslim community in Daboase to observe Eid al-Adha prayers at the Daboase Central Mosque grounds.
The MP arrived early and was received by the Chief Imam, community elders, and youth leaders. The atmosphere was one of joy, unity, and thanksgiving as hundreds of worshippers gathered for the congregational prayers marking the end of Hajj and the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim.
After the prayers, Hon. Isaac Adjei Mensah exchanged greetings with worshippers and emphasized the importance of peace, tolerance, and unity among all religious groups in Wassa East. He noted that development thrives where communities live in harmony.
The MP reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the Muslim community. He highlighted ongoing projects in Daboase and pledged to address pressing needs, including improved access roads, clean water, and support for Islamic education.
To support the celebrations, Hon. Isaac Adjei Mensah supported with bags of rice, cooking oil, and canned fish to assist families and ensure everyone could share in the festive meal.
Speaking on behalf of the community, the Chief Imam thanked the MP for his consistent presence and support. He offered prayers for the MPโs leadership, wisdom, and success in serving the constituency.
The visit ended with the MP interacting with constituents, listening to concerns, and encouraging the youth to pursue education and skills development.
