SHAI-OSUDOKU NDC CONSTITUENCY MOURNS WITH FAMILY OF LATE CONSTITUENCY SECRETARY, MR. JONES NUERTEY AYERTEY

The Shai-Osudoku Constituency Executive Committee (CEC) of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) wishes to inform the general public and the rank and file of the party that the official visitation to the family of our late Constituency Secretary, Mr. Jones Nuertey Ayertey, was successfully carried out today, Tuesday, 14th April 2026.

The visitation was led by the Constituency Chairman, Hon. Isaac Kofi Kportsu, together with other Constituency Executives and party faithful. We converged at the Party Office and proceeded to the family house, where we formally commiserated with the bereaved family.

During the visitation, we conveyed our heartfelt condolences to the family on behalf of the entire party. Members of the Constituency Executive Committee testified to the late Secretary’s outstanding dedication, describing him as highly proactive in party work and a committed servant who discharged his duties with diligence, loyalty, and consistency.

We further noted with deep sorrow that his invaluable contributions to the growth and strengthening of the constituency will be greatly missed. Indeed, we shall miss him dearly as one of us, a true comrade whose service to the party was selfless.
We also assured the family of the party’s continuous support throughout this difficult period and beyond.

The Constituency Executive Committee extends its profound appreciation to all members who made time to participate in the visitation and demonstrated solidarity with the bereaved family.
May the soul of our departed comrade rest in perfect peace.

GRATITUDE TO THE GOOD PEOPLE OF SHAI–OSUDOKU CONSTITUENCY

The Constituency Executive Committee (CEC) of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Shai–Osudoku Constituency, under the distinguished leadership of the Constituency Chairman, Isaac Kofi Kportsu, together with the Honourable Member of Parliament for the constituency and Greater Accra Regional Minister, Linda Akweley Ocloo, and the District Chief Executive, Ignatius Godfred Dordoe, extends its profound appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to the rank and file of the great NDC across the constituency.

The CEC is particularly grateful to our revered chiefs and queen mothers, respected Imams and religious leaders, our hardworking Branch Executives, committed Assembly Members, and the many dedicated party faithful whose invaluable time, presence, and support contributed immensely to the success of the recent visit by the National Chairman of the party.

We also wish to place on record our sincere appreciation to the National Chairman of the party, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, for honouring the constituency with his presence as part of his ongoing thank-you tour. His visit, engagement with party members, and words of encouragement have greatly inspired the rank and file of the party in the constituency.

The Constituency Executive Committee further takes this opportunity to commend the President of the Republic, John Dramani Mahama, for the decisive leadership and the commendable work being undertaken so far in steering the affairs of the nation.
His commitment to restoring hope, strengthening the economy, and improving the lives of Ghanaians continues to inspire confidence among the people.

We are equally grateful for the overwhelming support and enthusiastic reception given to the National Chairman during his visit to the constituency on Monday, 9th March 2026. The impressive turnout, unity of purpose, and spirit of camaraderie displayed by members and sympathizers of the party clearly demonstrate the unwavering commitment of the good people of Shai–Osudoku to the growth and success of the NDC.

The Constituency Executive Committee is greatly encouraged by the warmth, solidarity, and enthusiasm exhibited throughout the visit. This remarkable show of unity stands as a testament to the enduring strength, resilience, and vibrant spirit of the NDC within the Shai–Osudoku Constituency.

Beautiful highlights from the Thank You Tour of the Greater Accra Regional Minister and Member of Parliament for Shai-Osudoku, together with the Constituency Executive Committee (CEC).

The tour provided our MP and the party leadership with the opportunity to express profound gratitude to our cherished constituents for the massive support and overwhelming endorsement during the last elections.
