Earlier today, I had the distinguished honour of joining the Ahafo Regional Minister, the Hon Charity Gardiner , to represent the government and people of Tano North at the final funeral rites of the late Patrick K**i Afrane, cherished brother of Nana Ansah Adu Baah, President of the Yamfo Traditional Council.

In solemn reverence, we gathered with the chiefs, elders, and the good people of Yamfo to pay our last respects to a departed soul whose memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and community.

The depth of solidarity demonstrated by party faithfuls, community leaders, and residents from all walks of life was profoundly humbling. It affirmed once more that in times of sorrow, our unity remains our strength.

On behalf of the Tano North Municipal Assembly, and in my personal capacity as MCE, I convey my deepest condolences to Nana Ansah Adu Baah and the bereaved family. May the good Lord grant the departed eternal rest and console the hearts of those left behind.

Let us remain united in purpose, steadfast in compassion, and resolute in our collective pursuit of dignity, inclusion, and development for our beloved Municipality and the Ahafo Region at large.

Signed:
Hon Pius Opoku
Municipal Chief Executive
Tano North Municipal Assembly

Mr. Pius Opoku, Tano North Municipal Chief Executive (MCE),has indicated that learning a trade was a great stride towards financial independence.
He said tailors and dressmakers currently wield global power, because they clothe everyone (high and low),everywhere.
These were contained in the MCE,s address at the Graduation ceremony of the Duayaw Nkwanta Zone of the Ghana National Tailors and Dressmakers Association (GNTDA).
The MCE urged the Graduands to go out there, and serve their clients with integrity.
He also advised them to upgrade themselves and keep abreast with the ever changing global fashion tastes and trends, in order to be in good business.
Madam Linda Konama,Duayaw Nkwanta Zonal Chairperson of the GNTDA,urged the Graduands to use their power of trade profitably, in order to reduce unemployment in the area and Ghana,as a whole.
Madam Linda used the opportunity to appeal to Ghanaian youth not to idle around for lack of jobs, but rather, use their talents, energy and time,to secure employable skills, to improve their lots, and reduce the unemployment burden on government.
Forty three Graduands passed out at this year's Graduation, after a 4- year apprenticeship training.
