The struggle to maintain land boundaries, which have been pushed back from the Freeman Methodist Church along the AsuoFri stream to Galloway Junction by the New Juabens, is a testament to the continuous challenges Adweso has faced. It is imperative that the Omanhene, Oseadeeyo Kwasi Akuffo III and Benkumhene, Osaberima Asiedu Okoo Ababio support Adweso in these matters, rather than allowing internal divisions among Guans to weaken their collective standing.
Furthermore, the inclusion of Adweso's numerous suburbs – Two Streams, Osabene, Kentenkren, Yaa Botwe, Abotanso, Abogri, Galloway Area up to Adweso Estate, Rasta Down, Mile 50/Kwakyea, Bonya, Nyerede, and Kolinkwanta – highlights the extent of Adweso's territory within Akuapem. The ongoing disputes over areas like Bonya and Nyerede, where Krobos claim allegiance despite these being Akuapem lands bought by Krobo settlers, underscore the complex historical and territorial issues at play. To exclude Adweso from the Nkabom Tour would not only disregard its contributions but also exacerbate existing tensions and betray the spirit of unity that the Odwira festival is meant to foster. The achievement of a truly united Akuapem requires acknowledging and celebrating all its constituent parts, especially those that have a rich history of defending its territories.
