Kwabre East Municipal Celebrates 69th Independence Anniversary.

The Kwabre East Municipal Assembly, under the leadership of Hon. Joseph Amankwa, commemorated Ghana's 69th Independence Anniversary at the Assembly's Forecourt.

The colorful event, themed "Building Prosperity, Restoring Hope," brought together traditional leaders, security agencies, heads of department, students, cadet corps, and residents to celebrate the nation's progress and unity.

Hon. Onyina Acheampong Akwasi Gyamfi, Member of Parliament for Kwabre East, graced the occasion.

Kwabre East Municipal Celebrates 69th Independence Anniversary.

The Kwabre East Municipal Assembly, under the leadership of Hon. Joseph Amankwa, commemorated Ghana's 69th Independence Anniversary at the Assembly's Forecourt.

Kwabre East Municipal Assembly last Friday 03/07/2020 distributed PPE to some Faith Based organization within the Municipality to enable them observe the CONVID 19 protocols during church/mosque worship. In all over 70 Churches/Mosques benefited from the package as shown in the pictures below.

MCE and MP for Kwabre East yesterday, 24/02/2020 cut sod for the construction of a six unit classroom block at Sakora Wonoo.
The construction of the six unit classroom block is being financed by GNPC and it is expected to be completed in six months time
The MCE in his address said the gov't is working assiduously to provide critical infrastructure that is needed in every community in Kwabre to improve the lives of the citizenry.
He emphasise on gov't interventions that have reduced the burden in education and advise the pupils to take advantage of them and also take their studies seriously.
He seized the opportunity to thank the delegation from GNPC and also appealed to them to consider other pending request from Kwabre.
