ASHANTI REGIONAL MINISTER JOINS T.I. AHMADIYYA SHS TO CELEBRATE 75 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE
The Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Dr. Frank Amoakohene, joined the chiefs and people of Kumasi to celebrate a major milestone for T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School. The school recently held its 75th Speech and Prize-Giving Day, marking seven and a half decades of providing quality education and promoting peace among students of different faiths.
The event was a grand occasion that saw the presence of His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, showing the high respect the school commands in the region. Also in attendance were the Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Clement Apaak, and leaders from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission. They all came together to honor the school’s long history of producing disciplined and successful citizens who are helping to build Ghana.
In his address, Dr. Frank Amoakohene praised the school for its "Real Amass" spirit and its commitment to religious tolerance. He noted that the school’s legacy of excellence is something the entire region should be proud of. He also assured the school that the government remains fully committed to improving school buildings and making sure that education in the Ashanti Region continues to get better for every student.
The celebration ended with awards for hardworking students and staff. The Regional Minister encouraged the students to stay focused on their books and keep up the high level of discipline the school is known for. It was a day of joy and reflection, proving that T.I. Ahmadiyya SHS remains a shining example of academic and moral success in Ghana.
