The Bono Regional Director of the Youth Employment Agency, Mr. Mustapha Omar Copson, today joined the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) community as a guest speaker at the launch of the 2026 SRC Week Celebration.

Speaking on the theme, “Youthful Minds, One Vision: Empowering Youth for Sustainable National Transformation,” he emphasized the importance of investing in young people through skills development, innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership. He noted that empowering the youth is fundamental to building a resilient and prosperous nation, urging students to embrace opportunities that prepare them to become responsible leaders and agents of positive change.

He commended the SRC for championing initiatives that promote leadership and intellectual engagement among students, encouraging them to remain focused, innovative, and committed to contributing to Ghana’s development. He also expressed the Youth Employment Agency’s continued commitment to creating opportunities that empower young people to reach their full potential.

The Youth Employment Agency Bono Regional Office today hosted a productive capacity building session facilitated by representatives from the Monitoring and Evaluation Directorate and the IT Directorate of the Head Office.

The training brought together District Directors and Regional Office staff to strengthen their understanding of key operational processes, improve monitoring and reporting systems, and enhance the efficient management of beneficiary data and services. Participants were also taken through practical digital tools and best practices aimed at promoting accountability, accuracy, and seamless service delivery.

The session forms part of the Agency's commitment to strengthening institutional capacity and equipping staff with the knowledge and skills required to deliver efficient, transparent, and impactful services to beneficiaries across the region.
