ROADS MINISTER UPDATES PARLIAMENT ON MIASO–ASIREBUSO–OWUSUKROM FEEDER ROAD

Minister for Roads and Highways, Hon. Governs Kwame Agbodza, has informed Parliament that work on the Miaso–Asirebuso–Owusukrom feeder road is 49% complete. He noted, however, that progress has stalled due to delayed payments.

The Minister provided the update while replying to sector-related questions in the House. He also briefed Parliament on the Besease–Jamasi road, stating that it has been scheduled for rehabilitation by the Department of Urban Roads as part of a larger contract covering roads in Jamasi, Addientem, Donase, Adako Gyakye–Kwamo, and the Bronikrom area within the Ejisu Municipality.

According to him, the rehabilitation contract started on 19 December 2024 and is expected to be finished by 18 December 2026.
