Still in the spirit of International Women’s Day,the M&E team on a working field visit made a stop at Chanzegu yesterday —where the resilient women of the 'Wumpini Cooperative Group' are proving that empowerment starts with unity and discipline.

Through a weekly 'susu' contributions initiave under the Skills Empowerment Initiative,these hardworking women are building financial strength,supporting one another,and creating brighter futures for their families and communities.

This is more than savings —it’s women lifting women,turning small steps into powerful change.

🤝 Strengthening Partnerships for Sustainable Impact!

The GHANA YOUTH GUIDE (GYG),led by their Executive Director,Mr. Prince Chentiwuni,together with student interns from VIA University College, Campus Aarhus C ,paid a visit to Social Impact Hub Ghana (SiHG).

As part of the visit,the delegation embarked on a field tour to our Weaving Academy and Shea Butter Production Centre,gaining first-hand practical experience and insight into our community-driven initiatives.
Together,we are building partnerships that empower communities,promote skills development,and drive sustainable transformation.

The visit also focused on deepening collaborations and strengthening strategic partnerships aimed at driving sustainable impact and shared growth within our communities.🌍✨

In an appreciation remarks,Mr. Prince Chentiwuni expressed sincere gratitude to the SiHG team for the warm reception and reaffirmed the strong bond between the two partner organizations.His words further highlight our shared commitment to empowering communities through innovation,mentorship,and co-learning.

At SiHG,we believe that meaningful partnerships are the foundation for lasting change.This engagement marks another important step towards expanding our collective impact.

Building Sustainable Pathways👣 for Women’s Economic Empowerment🌾🎯

The ball has been set rolling,and what is being discussed in our communities now is Skill Empowerment and Sustainable income generation to improve livelihoods.

Over the week,Social Impact Hub Ghana led by our programs lead was in Kanfiegyili in the Kumbungu District to engage our women beneficiaries in a community dialogue ahead of the implementation of our .

The session fostered;
✅ Participation

✅ Inclusion,and

✅ Local ownership—setting a strong foundation for impactful delivery.

Objectives of the engagement:
☑️ To introduce the Skills Empowerment Initiative and its focus on practical,income-generating skills

☑️ To assess existing skills,interests,and training needs of women in the community

☑️ To strengthen community ownership and ensure readiness for smooth project implementation

This visit and engagement helped SiHG technical team collect baseline data on:
✅ Participants’ current skill sets and livelihood conditions

✅ Complete beneficiary mapping to support effective tracking and accountability

✅ Identify impact indicators to measure skills acquisition,income growth,and long-term sustainability.

This initiative directly contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),particularly:

☑️ No Poverty: Enhancing income opportunities through skills development

☑️ Gender Equality: Empowering women with market-relevant skills and decision-making capacity

☑️ Decent Work & Economic Growth: Promoting productive employment and entrepreneurship
