BLACK STAR EXPERIENCE_FOOD MONTH, 2026 – DISPLAY YOUR COOKING POT.

Yesterday, the Centre for National Culture Antoinette Dzorgbenyuie Kotoko-Letsa , Northern Region hosted this year’s Display your pot, an indigenous foods programme that takes place in the month of August — a celebration of culture, wellness, and unity through traditional meals, themed: Taste of Wellness Nutrition in every tradition.

Staff of the Centre volunteered their time and skills to cook and serve, showing that food is service, kindness, and a way to build families and networks while preserving traditions.

Our indigenous meals hold immense tourism and commercial potential, offering opportunities for farmers, hospitality, and the food industry.
By promoting them, we keep culture alive in modernity.

These meals are more than food — they are symbols of health, creativity, and community well-being.
