ACCRA MET SUCCESSFULLY INAUGURATES LAW ADVISORY COUNCIL
Ahead of the commencement of its LLB Programme, Accra Metropolitan University has officially inaugurated its Legal Advisory Council, further strengthening its position as one of the leading private universities to introduce a dynamic and forward-looking law programme in Ghana.
The historic event was held on 26th February 2026 at 3:00 PM at the University’s campus at Spintex, Addo Gonno, attracting distinguished guests, members of the academic community, and key stakeholders.
This milestone marks more than a ceremonial gathering — it represents Accra Met’s unwavering commitment to strengthening legal education, ethical governance, and national development in Ghana and beyond.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Goski Alabi, expressed her immense joy and pride on this momentous occasion. She acknowledged the depth of reputation, integrity, and experience represented on the Council, emphasizing that their guidance will ensure the School of Law is built on excellence, innovation, and strong governance foundations.
The newly inaugurated Legal Advisory Council comprises an eminent and distinguished body of jurists, senior practitioners, and scholars:

Collectively, this distinguished team of Supreme Court Justices, legal luminaries, and accomplished academics brings deep expertise, integrity, and strategic insight to shape the academic, ethical, and professional formation of future legal practitioners at Accra Met.
In their acceptance remarks, members of the Council expressed their appreciation for the confidence reposed in them and assured the University of their readiness to use their knowledge, experience, and networks to support the growth and success of the LLB programme.
The audience was thrilled by a special musical performance from the Ghana Police Band, which added colour and prestige to the ceremony.
