Recent reports indicate multiple attacks in Nigeria, resulting in significant loss of life:
- At least 27 people were killed in a Boko Haram attack in Adamawa state on February 25, 2026.
- In another incident, gunmen killed five people and injured three in Plateau state on February 27, 2026.
- Earlier in February, gunmen killed nearly 200 people in Kwara and Katsina states.
- In January 2026, bandits killed at least 46 people in Niger state.
Nigeria's kidnapping crisis has worsened, with 241 people abducted in February 2026 alone. The attacks are widespread, targeting communities, schools, and highways across various regions. In 2025, kidnappers demanded over N48 billion in ransom, with N2.56 billion paid, and 4,722 civilians abducted.
A week ago the formal presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi and other honorable members of the ADC party were attacked in their just concluded state meeting fortunately no casualties were recorded but several vehicles were damaged.
And more and more pressing issues weighing the country down but the youth of the Giant of Africa who seize every opportunity to let the world know that they're the most intelligent and the best at everything failed to use the same energy to deliver this sinking country but rather would jump on "hypo challenge" to seek validation. What a failed generation.
This generation would rather fill a stadium for their favorite artist or their favorite religious leader but will never fill a stadium for the betterment of this country.
Dear youth, did you not know that the next God in Nigeria is your government?
The good life you enjoy as a Nigerian is directly proportional to the kind of Government you have.
This year decide the future of your next generation by voting for the right candidate. Akaachaam♥️
