"In managing the NWS Housing Project, we are at a crossroads: Stability vs. Speed.

A Phased approach ensures we never over-extend, but it takes time. A Hybrid Leverage model could house our entire team by next year, but it requires sophisticated financial management.

🌊 PNG National Weather Service – Annual Tide Calendar Now Available

The Papua New Guinea National Weather Service is pleased to share the Annual Tide Prediction Calendar for Papua New Guinea, produced in partnership with the Pacific Community through the COSPPac Programme.

The tide calendar provides predicted daily high and low tides for selected coastal locations in Papua New Guinea and is an important resource for people who depend on the sea.

This information can assist with:
⚓ Maritime and port operations
🎣 Fishing and coastal activities
🚨 Coastal flooding awareness and disaster preparedness
🏝 Marine tourism and recreation
🏗 Coastal infrastructure planning

We encourage maritime operators, fishermen, coastal communities, and government agencies to make use of this calendar when planning activities at sea and along our coastlines.

📍 Printed copies are available through the PNG National Weather Service, and digital copies will also be shared for public access.

For more information on tide predictions and marine weather services, please contact the PNG National Weather Service.
