This event showcased the importance of agriculture and its continued contribution to the development and well-being of our communities. The event featured a range of agricultural displays, including seedlings, plant production and demonstrations highlighting various aspects of the sector.

The activities provided an opportunity to highlight the work of farmers and agricultural stakeholders while promoting greater awareness of sustainable farming practices, food production, and environmental stewardship.

Agriculture remains an important pillar in supporting food security, sustainable livelihoods, income generation and economic development. The observance of Agriculture Month also provides an opportunity to encourage greater participation in the sector, particularly among young people, while recognising the valuable contribution of farmers and agricultural workers.
