Sundial, HKUST solar car team

A team that comprise of a group of young, fresh and innovative engineers, which are all going the participate in the ' New Energy, New Generation' Competition organized by the Government of HKSAR.

我地架車終於面世啦!
尋日我地一邊測試Sundial，一邊開飯盒會。
今日我地就正式係科學園叉電啦!
大家得閒黎睇啦。
除此之外，一月十日(下星期日)係行車既比賽日，記得黎睇啦!

Today, we are here in Science Park having our charging competition!
Feel free to meet us there!

地球嘅能源都將會有用盡嘅一日，而可再生能源將會係未來能源發展非常嘅一項。而太陽能亦會係可再生能源相對有發展潛力嘅能源，等我地講解下太陽能嘅好處啦!
Insufficient energy source is a problem to the globe, and renewable energy can be a solution to that. Among all the renewable energy sources, solar energy proves to be a promising option. Let us share the advantages of solar energy here!

Sundial太陽能車隊係由16名科大學生組成，來自唔同嘅學系，喺黎緊1月3日同10日將會係科學園同其他大專院校比賽。喺呢到介紹下我地嘅隊員啦!

Sundial solar car team comprises of 16 team members, which are from different degree programs. On the 3 Jan and 10 Jan, they will participate in the 'New Energy New Generation' solar car competition with others tertiary institutions in the Science Park. Let's introduce them!

今日有香海正覺蓮社佛教正覺中學嘅同學黎交流，佢地亦都會喺黎緊1月3日同10日一齊係科學園比賽。互相交流喺一個好機會去探究更多新能源或太陽能車上嘅學問。交流、甚或傳承，都非常重要。新能源嘅發展，並非一時三刻可以做好，能夠將我地嘅知識傳承，喺推動社會可持續發展非常重要嘅一環，何樂而不為? 希望有更多機會同大家作交流。

We are glad to have secondary school students from HHCKLA Buddhist Ching Kok Secondary School to visit us. They will participate in the New Energy New Generation solar car competition on the coming 3 Jan and 10 Jan in the Science Park.We believe that the exchange in knowledge is very crucial in future development, including new energy development and solar car. Passing on the knowledge is undeniably essential to advance the technologies we have, and also of paramount importance in pushing forward the sustainable development. Why should not? We look forward to any opportunities for exchange!

即使冬至，我地亦都冇休息，並且工作到好夜，為黎緊嘅比賽作好準備。今日我地終於為Sundial上油啦!
Even on the Winter Solstice, we still work very hard for 'Sundial'. Today we painted our car!

日以繼夜，夜以繼日嘅工作確實會令人疲累，不過我地並冇放棄。我地鋪碳纖用咗抽真空嘅方法，係一個長時間嘅工作，之後更需要甩模。我地非常慶幸有Prof. Ma 同我地一齊磨模！(P.S. 由於需時太長，我地嘅組員設計咗呢隻吉祥物。)
Definitely working on every days and nights are tough, but WE WON'T GIVE UP. Vacuum Bagging is the mean we manufacture the carbon fiber. It requires energy, efforts and time. It requires demould as well. We are glad to have Prof. Ma working with us together! (P.S. The mascot was designed by our teammates during the time-consuming mold manufacture.)
