【炎夏中的一抹清涼 💦 用愛與關懷 #夾縫作光 ✨】

喺呢個悶熱嘅夏夜，有一班充滿愛心同活力嘅救世軍部隊年青人，選擇用行動走入社區，為街友送上最貼心嘅溫暖與關懷！❤️

今晚（8月8日），呢班年青人首先嚟到「救世軍露宿者綜合服務隊（九龍及新界）」進行交流同了解，隨後就帶同大包小包嘅物資，浩浩蕩蕩出發探訪街友。🎒👣

面對持續高溫嘅炎熱天氣，大家特別貼心地準備咗：
🍞 日常食品及日用品 —— 溫飽與生活基本所需
🧼 番梘 —— 讓街友喺炎熱中可以洗滌塵垢，重拾清爽與尊嚴
💧 最重要嘅「涼水」 —— 喺悶熱嘅街頭，送上一口透心涼嘅甘露，消暑解渴

正如年青人營衣背後所寫嘅聖經金句：
📖 「我是世界的光。跟從我的，就不在黑暗裡走，必要得著生命的光。」（約翰福音 8:12）

即使喺城市最不起眼嘅角落、喺生活嘅夾縫之中，只要有人願意伸出雙手、傳遞溫度，就能夠將愛與亮光帶入黑暗。感謝呢班年青人，用汗水同關懷，喺街頭實踐愛鄰如己嘅精神！🌟

Football’s coming Home🏠!

對有些人來說，Home🏠 是一個地址；對另一些人來說，Home🏠 也可以是一個有人記得你、有人為你留位的地方。

凌晨三時，世界盃決賽正式開波⚽，房間裏仍然坐滿了人。有人穿着心愛球隊的球衣，有人帶來小食與大家分享，有人剛進門，已經開始分析西班牙的中場。每一次攻門、撲救和差點入球🥅，現場都有歡呼、有嘆息，也有幾句互相取笑。

平日大家各有生活，未必經常見面，有些人甚至只是在中心碰過幾次面。但一場足球賽⚽️，令大家坐在同一張枱旁，一起緊張、一起拍掌，也自然地聊起近況。有人遞過一杯飲品，有人分享小食，有人為旁邊的人預留座位。這些看似平常的小事，令整個晚上有了「家」的感覺。

足球當然不能解決住屋問題，也不能代替一個真正安穩的家。但它可以創造一個開始，讓人感到自己仍然屬於某個地方，仍然有人歡迎，仍然可以和別人分享快樂。

多謝每一位捱夜來到的街坊。這一晚，我們看見的不只有一場決賽，也看見了人與人之間重新連結的可能!

For some people, Home🏠 is an address. For others, Home🏠 can also mean a place where someone remembers you, welcomes you and saves you a seat.

At 3 a.m., the World Cup Final finally kicked off⚽️, and the room was still full. Some arrived in their favourite team shirts, some brought snacks to share, and someone walked in already talking about Spain’s midfield. Every attack, save and near goal brought cheers🥅, groans and plenty of friendly arguments.

Many of us do not meet often. We have different routines, different responsibilities and different stories. Some people had only seen each other a few times before that night. Yet football⚽️ gave everyone a reason to sit together. Someone passed around a drink. Someone shared food. Someone moved over to make room for another person. These small moments made the space feel warmer and more familiar.

Football cannot solve homelessness, and a watch party cannot replace safe and stable housing. But it can create a moment of belonging. It can remind someone that there is still a place where they are welcome, where people notice their presence and where joy can be shared.

Thank you to everyone who stayed up and joined us. That night, we witnessed more than a final. We witnessed how connection can begin, sometimes with something as simple as a football match and a seat waiting for you.
