【Global Top 10 Finalist 躋身全球十強】
The HKMoA and the Conservation Office are proud to announce that their collaborative exhibition and outreach programme, “Seeing Art Anew: Mounting and Conservation of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy”, has been selected as a top 10 finalist for the prestigious 2026 International Institute for Conservation (IIC) Keck Award! Public voting is now officially open, we sincerely invite you to cast your vote and support us!
The exhibition attracted over 570,000 visitors and received wide media coverage. Combining science and art, the project deconstructs the mounting and conservation of Chinese painting and calligraphy. The outreach programme reached deep into schools and communities, showcasing the power of cultural heritage conservation in fostering community inclusion. This is an international recognition of the efforts rooted in Hong Kong. The winner will be partly chosen by public vote. We are counting on your support.
