Please be advised that the lowest of the low were also at work in the Heathstown area yesterday. A property was broken into and a number of items taken. If you see anything at all please contact the Gaurds.

Please be advised that the lowest of the low were out again today. A burglary occurred in the Ballyfallon area of Athboy today between 1 and 2:30pm. A number of personal items of great sentiment importance were taken. If you saw any suspicious behavior in the Athboy Kildalkey areas please contact the Gaurds at Kells or Athboy. This is a particularly upsetting incident for the family involved. If you saw anything, no matter how insignificant you may think it was contact (046) 928 0820.

What an absolutely magnificent morning at the Big Pink Breakfast in Athboy Convent Community centre in aid the Irish Cancer Society. Well done everyone for attending and well done Rachel, Naomi and friends for organising such a day. Our community has been touched hard by cancer in recent times. However it has also shown us that cancer is no match for the Powerful women who we call our friends and family. Today was testament to our community’s support for them and for everyone affected by this long shadow. . .
