🌊Jigsaw Offaly Laois is hosting a fundraising event *Dip for Jigsaw* on *Saturday, Sept 12th at 9.30am* at the Outdoor Pool in Banagher.

🫂Our aim is to connect people together in our local community while having fun and raising awareness of young people's mental health in Offaly and Laois. There will be some activities before and after the dip and plenty of time for tea, coffee, treats and chats. This event will help fund the free therapy and support services that Jigsaw provides, whilst also ensuring that children and young people across Offaly and Laois feel safe and supported in their mental health.

💜 It would be great if you could join us! Join as a group or individual and bring along a friend or a family member for connection, we would especially love to see parents coming with their young people to “Dip together”.

Home coming for Kelly our AlIreland gold medal winner and all the rest of our competitors who competed today in the AlIreland Community games finals in Carlow and made us so proud. Meet outside Brosnalodge for 8.30pm. Hope to be back in Banagher for 8.45pm. Please share.

Offaly Council are now accepting nominations for the upcoming Community & Voluntary Group Awards 2026. Winners will receive a bursary of €500 to use in their community work. Closing Date September 6th. Please see www.offaly.ie for further information

Chair Yoga classes starting September 18th in Crank House @10:30 am. The term is 6 weeks long

Classes are suitable for men and women of all ages and abilities.

We will work on movement for every day life, mobility, balance and strength, all while having fun and making connections.

Do you love to sing? 🎤
Maybe you haven't sung in years?
Maybe you think you can't sing?
Or perhaps you simply enjoy music and would love to meet new people and be part of something in the community?

Banagher Community Choir is for you! ❤️

Following the wonderful memories, friendships and sense of community created through Banagher Gospel Choir, I’m hoping to bring people together once again through the joy of singing.

This time, the aim is simple to create a welcoming, relaxed and fun community choir where everyone is welcome.

🎶 No auditions. No experience necessary.
Just a love of music, a willingness to sing and a desire to meet people and have some fun along the way!

The vision is to build a choir that becomes part of the Banagher community bringing people together, creating friendships and hopefully performing at local events and occasions throughout the year.

Whether you’re a confident singer, haven’t sung since school, or are just looking for something new to get involved in come along and give it a go!
