Thank you so much to everyone who came and supported my Pop-up this morning!🙏🏻 As I loaded the car this morning I really doubted if I would sell it all. But I did, thanks to you. There were several of you that I’ve never met before and it was lovely to meet you😊
And I’m so sorry that I hadn’t made enough for everyone who wanted to buy something.. If all goes to plan, I will do another couple of Pop-ups during the summer and I’ll be making even more lemon drizzles. I’ve been a little teary all afternoon, simply because I’m so grateful (and probably a little tired).

The summer has officially begun ☀️ And we were so lucky to spend this beautiful day at our favourite beach. The children did lots of rock climbing and the mother got a lovely little bouquet of purple flowers. Several hours of sunshine and nothing but the sounds of waves, birds and children laughing🩵

To be pushed out of one’s comfort zone🦄 When I was asked if I could make a rainbow unicorn cake, I have to admit that I hesitated a little before I said yes. I had only made it once before and that was for my own daughter several years ago. And my confidence has been has been a little shaken lately.. but this was for a very special girl so of course I said yes. I know I shouldn’t be listening to that critical inner voice anyway.
The cake consists of 6 colourful layers and a cream cheese icing. I dyed the icing pink and purple for the mane and added some sprinkles and lilacs as a final touch💜 I must say I’m quite pleased with the final result an I really love the presentation of it (created by the birthday girl’s mother). The birthday girl was really happy to and that’s all that matters🩷🦄🌈
