Our day care centre and meals on wheels will be closed tomorrow Tuesday 17th and closed on Wednesday 18th. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

We will be open on Friday as usual.

A WALK IN THE PARK | THE IRISH DONKEY SOCIETY

We are delighted to welcome the Irish Donkey Society to the Connemara West Centre on Sunday 7th September @ 1pm.
Starting at 1pm they will be taking a scenic stroll through the Letterfrack Village and up to the Connemara National Park,
Meet & support donkeys of the Society. They will be plenty of opportunities to meet society members and to take photos.

FORUM Connemara are very pleased to announce the launch of a Dementia Café for Letterfrack with the support of the HSE and Healthy Galway. The Café which will be held in the Wild Goat Café Letterfrack will provide a friendly, welcoming space for people living with dementia and their carers, to meet and socialise while enjoying activities with a cuppa and some nibbles.
A Dementia Café is designed to offer a normal atmosphere for people who may find some other social settings challenging and therefore can become isolated and disconnected from their peers. This also applies to carers who often experience loneliness and isolation also.
