Traditional details brought back to life.

From the plinth course to the moulded cornices, decorative corbels, in-situ cast bases and subtle window chamfers, this finish was achieved using Roundtower NHL 3.5 and Roman Cement.

A remarkable restoration at Carrickfergus Congregational Church.

The interior was fully replastered using a traditional three-coat lime system with a lime putty finish, alongside extensive in-situ moulding work including arches, architraves, pilasters, fluted columns and circular window details.

Great to have over in Innishannon to give some of the Roundtower Lime team hands-on training on their fantastic SkamoWall Calcium Silicate Board system.

SkamoWall boards are designed to provide internal insulation while helping to manage moisture and improve indoor comfort. Made from calcium silicate, they are vapour permeable and capillary active, meaning they can absorb, store, and release moisture, making them particularly useful in older buildings where breathability is important.
