Time flies faster than we wish. ✨

Our heartfelt thanks to our dear colleague, Ambassador of Lithuania Jonas Grinevicius, and the Embassy of Lithuania for hosting such a warm and memorable farewell gathering. It was a true pleasure to share the evening with our dear rotating colleagues — Ambassador of Latvia Juris Štālmeistars, Ambassador of Denmark Lars Thuesen, and Ambassador of Sweden Lina van der Weyden.

We are deeply grateful to all colleagues, partners, friends, and family members who joined us on this special occasion. Your presence, kind words, and shared memories made the evening truly meaningful.

A special thank you to the Apostolic Nuncio for the warm words and the memorable gift on behalf of the diplomatic corps — a gesture we will always cherish.

And warm thanks as well to Nordic Twist for the beautiful and delicious cake. 🎂

Evenings like these remind us how valuable friendship, partnership, and the diplomatic community truly are. 💙

🎬 Yesterday, we had the great pleasure of attending the special screening of the documentary “Reel to Revolution” at the magical setting of Lough Gur, Limerick.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Patrick and Fiona O’Sullivan; the Mayor of Limerick, John Moran; the Irish musicians and storytellers; and all the lovely guests who made the evening so warm and memorable.

A special thank you goes to the incredible team behind the project: Tommy Fegan, Frank Flood, Thomas Mulligan, Neillidh Mulligan, Bronagh McAtasney, Donagh McKeown, James Sherry, Sven Jürgenson, along with all the musicians, historians, and supporting institutions whose passion and dedication brought this remarkable story to life.

Special thanks also to Nordic Twist for the wonderful catering that added another warm and memorable touch to the evening.

It was truly a heartwarming and unforgettable night — a celebration of culture, storytelling, music, and friendship that continues to connect Ireland and Estonia across borders. ✨

📚Yesterday, the Embassy of Estonia in Dublin had the pleasure of attending the inspiring conversation event Who Are We? at the International Literature Festival Dublin, where Estonian writer Carolina Pihelgas appeared together with acclaimed Irish author Sara Baume.

🗣️ The discussion brought together two remarkable contemporary European voices and offered audiences a thoughtful and deeply human conversation about memory, identity, displacement, belonging, and the invisible threads connecting personal stories with wider European histories. Throughout the evening, both authors reflected on how individual experiences, family histories, landscapes, and cultural memory continue to shape who we are — both as individuals and as societies.

🇪🇪 Carolina Pihelgas represented Estonia with warmth, intelligence. Her participation highlighted the strength and growing international visibility of contemporary Estonian literature and created meaningful cultural dialogue between Estonia and Ireland. Events like these remind us of the important role literature plays in helping us better understand each other and the complex realities of today’s Europe.

We are proud to see Estonian literature represented on international stages and look forward to many more cultural encounters in the future. 🤝

Russia has been portraying the EU and Ukraine’s leadership as “warmongers” unwilling to end the war. This is, of course, an outright lie.

In reality, it is the Kremlin that has rejected at least seven peace proposals in 2025 alone.

🇪🇪 Today, Ambassador H.E. Mrs. Kairi Künka and Consul Ms Helena Bonde had the distinct pleasure of welcoming representatives of the Estonian Employers’ Confederation to the Embassy for an official meeting.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Board of the Estonian Employers’ Confederation Ain Hanschmidt, Chief Executive Officer Hando Sutter, and Head of EU and International Relations Kristi Sõber, whose visit highlighted the important role of Estonia’s business community in strengthening international dialogue and supporting sustainable economic development.

The discussions focused on opportunities for collaboration, the future prospects of entrepreneurship, the role of digital innovation, and a shared commitment to strengthening ties between Estonia and international partners.

We thank our guests for the insightful discussion and constructive cooperation.

Honoured to participate as the Estonian delegate at the XLII Annual EUFASA Conference in Dublin, hosted by the Irish Foreign Affairs Family Association (IFAFA).

The conference provided an excellent platform for meaningful discussions, professional networking, and the exchange of experiences among members of the European Union Foreign Affairs Spouses, Partners, and Families Association (EUFASA AISBL).

It was a valuable opportunity to strengthen international connections, engage in insightful dialogue, and reflect on the important role of families and support networks within diplomacy and international relations.

My sincere thanks to the organizers for delivering such a well-organized and welcoming conference in the beautiful city of Dublin. I greatly appreciated the opportunity to connect with colleagues from across Europe and contribute to these important conversations.
