For Seachtain na Gaeilge, Tailte Éireann is highlighting the surveying archives we hold relating to an Iol-scoil na Muman An Rinn, Co. Waterford in 1922.

The 1922 Name Book gives details on the school's principal and teachers, and variety of courses provided for children and adults, "where Irish only is spoken"

The Trace Map, which captures additional details not included in the published map, shows the school and surrounding Gaeltacht area of An Rinn.

Le haghaidh Seachtain na Gaeilge, tá Tailte Éireann ag tarraingt aird ar na cartlanna suirbhéireachta atá againn a bhaineann le hIolscoil na Muman An Rinn, Co. Phort Láirge i 1922.

Tugann an Leabhar Ainmneacha 1922 sonraí ar phríomhoide agus ar mhúinteoirí na scoile, agus ar éagsúlacht na gcúrsaí a chuirtear ar fáil do pháistí agus do dhaoine fásta, "áit nach labhraítear ach an Gaeilge"

Léirítear sa Léarscáil Rianaithe, ina bhfuil sonraí breise nach bhfuil san áireamh sa léarscáil fhoilsithe, an scoil agus an Ceantar timpeall Gaeltachta na Rinne.

The memorial recites an earlier lease when Revered Doctor John Parry leased the same site to Sir Henry Ford for the use of King Charles II.
