On the Move, which is supported by Creative Europe's Music Moves Europe strand, seek respondents to their GreenBeat Nexus survey as part of their project to help Europe's ecosystem transition toward and desirable futures.

They are gathering insights from music professionals, grass-roots initiatives, amateur and community music actors, touring managers, music education and training supporters, and sustainability experts across Creative Europe countries to better understand what the sector needs to accelerate its green transition.

They are especially looking for feedback from professionals and organisations based in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, Georgia, Greece, Iceland, , Malta, Montenegro, Slovakia, Spain and Tunisia.

Your input will help shape future GreenBeat Nexus activities, resources, capacity-building opportunities and support schemes for a more sustainable European music ecosystem.

Congratulations to the OPW - Office of Public Works on their Europa Nostra Grand Prix for Improving the Energy Performance of Heritage Properties in State Care Initiative!

The OPW developed a technical training programme to help public authorities improve the energy performance of historic buildings without compromising their heritage value in support of Ireland’s climate action commitments and the EU’s decarbonisation targets.

We are delighted to announce the OPW has been awarded a Grand Prix at the prestigious European Heritage Awards 2026 in Cyprus for its training programme to improve energy efficiency in Heritage properties.
The Board of Europa Nostra noted, “This initiative conveys a truly impactful message, demonstrating what can be achieved through climate-focused approaches in the cultural heritage sector, while establishing clear methodologies and training frameworks that are both replicable and transferable. Cultural heritage values and climate action go hand in hand, paving the way towards a sustainable future.”
The awards ceremony gathered some 500 heritage professionals, volunteers, enthusiasts and supporters from across Europe and beyond.

This Friday, we will discover the winner of the 2026 European Union Prize for Literature (EUPL). 🏆

EUPL is about giving stories the opportunity to travel across borders, languages, and readers.

Former winner Nicoletta Verna was recently welcomed at the Buenos Aires Book Fair, where she opened the EU stand, celebrating the cultural bridges between Europe and Latin America.

Her award-winning novel, I Giorni di Vetro (Days of Glass), has been translated to Spanish. During the Fair, the largest in the Spanish speaking world, she reached authors, booksellers, professionals and 1.2 million readers approximately.

Emerging choreographers based in Europe can apply to become Aerowaves artists with the opportunity to present their work at Spring Forward Festival 2027 in Ireland.

Aerowaves, registered in Ireland, is a hub for dance discovery in Europe that is supported by Creative Europe funding for Platofrms. They identify the most promising new work by emerging dance artists and then promote it through cross-border performances. Dance Cork, Firkin Crane, Cork, and Dance Limerick are partners in the platoform.

Apply to become an Aerowaves Artist! 20 emerging European-based choreographers will have the chance to take part in Spring Forward Festival 2027 in - apply by 15 July 2026.

Free Radicals Survey Mapping Plant Knowledge in European Arts & Culture Sector.

The Creative Europe supported Free Radicals research project explores the intersections between plant biodiversity and artistic practice. Free Radicals is a two-year research project exploring the intersections between plant biodiversity and artistic practice.

Survey: How do you engage with Plants?
