Meet like-minded climate justice practitioners, and spend 3 hours working in pairs and group settings to upskill and develop expert knowledge in intersectional climate writing.

This is a 10-person max, high-touch space designed equip you with intersectional skills to elevate your climate and environmental writing and its impact.

When our research and reporting ignore gender, racialisation, disability, and power, we reproduce the same colonial and patriarchal logic (even unintentionally) that created the crisis in the first place.

This is why I am running this workshop only once this year, and I want you to be part of it if my mission resonates with you.

Only a few spots left and the maximum number of participants in this class is 10 to ensure editorial quality throughout the lab.

I am building The Ecofeminist Society from scratch. Do you want in early?

The founders' membership is now open for a few more weeks, and then, never again.

March 8th is approaching. As a nonbinary person, I have some reflections:

Every year, I get mentioned in posts, and every year, I take a moment to process: Is this person tagging me really that oblivious? Is it an honest mistake? Or is it them insisting on putting me in a box they believe I should belong to?

For some nonbinary people who have or have had a connection to femininity or womanhood, can bring up complicated emotions. Engaging with the day can feel uncomfortable and tricky to navigate.

While I don’t identify as a woman, I am still the product of having been socialised as one, so I do have a link to womanhood and the challenges women encounter—whether it’s legislation, education, or gender-based violence, these issues also affect me.

If I acknowledge and my connection to it, does that invalidate my nonbinary identity? Absolutely not! But it’s a thought that lingers and something many nonbinary people wrestle with each year.

Interacting with -related content, events, or discussions can also trigger feelings of dysphoria, as these spaces don’t fully include trans+ and nonbinary communities.

Now, if you’re enby & you personally want to recognize the day and you associate with it, that’s completely valid. But if it brings up discomfort or dysphoria, you don’t have to center yourself—uplifting and supporting others is enough.

Bottom line is, if you’re organizing an event or creating content for the day, please take a moment to consider whether it welcomes nonbinary people. Many of us are part of these conversations, even though we don’t identify as women. And don’t forget to include trans women and transfeminine people in your content and events!

As for me—please don’t tag me in posts where I’m specifically labeled as a ‘woman creator’ or ‘trailblazer.’ Refrain from emailing me about speaking for your “Women in Science” or “ Women in STEM” conferences. That’s not who I am. But if you want to explore the ways nonbinary folks engage with , I’d be happy to be part of that discussion!

Happy new year to you! 🥳 I want to take a minute to express my gratitude and appreciation to all the individuals and organisations who trusted the and myself in 2024. Our work to fight for a better planet and even better collective human evolution has just begun, and there is still a lot more that we can accomplish in the coming years. A couple of projects are in the making and I cannot wait to share them with you soon! Until then, I hope you take the time you need to rest, because none of us can pour from an empty cup.
