"The man who in the name of Ireland accepts as a ‘Final Settlement’ anything less by one iota than separation from England is guilty of so immense an infidelity, so immense a crime against the Irish nation… that it were better he had not been born. “ - PH Pearse.

The Fight for National Liberation in Ireland is for the 32 County All Ireland Republic as Proclaimed in Arms in 1916 and nothing short of it.

No peace treaty with Imperialism, no pacification process, no border poll.

The Sovereignty and Unity of Our Republic is inalienable and non judicable.

Anyone who says otherwise is a National Traitor, not a Republican.

We stand by the 32 County All Ireland Republic.

TRUMP NOT WELCOME!

TRUMP NOT WELCOME!

On Saturday September 12, the Chief US Imperialist, Commander in chief of their terrorist forces, war criminal and genocider Donald Trump will pay a very unwelcome and unwanted visit to Ireland.

While the visit is unwanted, it gives the Irish People a very clear opportunity to take a stand against US Imperialism, Imperialist War and the ongoing Genocide in the Middle East.

Through US Imperialism’s involvement in NATO, Trump also upholds Britain’s illegal occupation and partition of Ireland and the permanent presence of the US Military at Shannon Airport is a further denial of Irish Sovereignty and an obstacle to National Liberation that must be overcome.

On Saturday Sept 12 a march is being called against Trump’s presence in Dublin. But a march that consists of speeches by reformist politicians is not enough to demonstrate Ireland’s anger at trumps crimes.

Anti Imperialist Action Ireland is calling a Revolutionary Bloc on the day, one that is ready to oppose Trump in words and action. We are calling on all Republicans, Socialists, Anti Imperialists and other progressives to join the Revolutionary Bloc and take the fight against imperialism in Ireland in as direct a manner we can!

Assemble 1pm, Garden of Remembrance, Dublin City Centre.

The event will assemble at Doyle’s Corner in Phibsboro at 3pm and march to the grave of the first Republican Hungerstriker, Thomas Ashe in Glasnevin Cemetery.

The speakers on the day will be Seán Doyle and Mike Edwards, both who played an active role in the 1981 campaign.

Nothing highlights that the Free State remains a semi colony of British Imperialism more then the fact that a British War Ship with its transponder turned off along with a Brit Navy Helicopter are currently operating off the Wicklow coast to assist the Free State provide security for a meeting of EU Imperialist Ministers at the Druids Glen Resort.

That the British Military plays a role in the policing of Irish Airspace and waters has long been highlighted by Republicans, but the latest incident comes as it has been announced that the Free State Administration is in high level talks with the British Imperialist Government for the Free State Navy to become part of the British led, so called ‘Joint expeditionary force’ a 10 nation maritime military operation that attempts to police waters around Britain, Ireland and up to the artic circle from the imaginary ‘Russian threat’.

In reality, these moves are about integrating the Free State into the NATO terrorist alliance by the back door so as generations of our youth can become cannon fodder in the forthcoming Imperialist Wars.

British, EU and NATO imperialism have no right to be in Ireland. Anti Imperialist Action Ireland is building a campaign of resistance across the country that has stepped up in recent weeks and will continue to confront all aspects of Imperialism in Ireland.

The Irish People won’t be sleepwalked in NATO or British Military alliances by Free State traitors.

The solution to this imperialist warmongering is the All Ireland Socialist Republic.

Britain, EU and NATO out of Ireland Now!

On Sunday, AIA activists were proud to attend the 45th Anniversary Hunger Strike Commemoration organised by our comrades in Independent Dublin Republicans (IDR).

Marching behind the IDR Colour Party and the James Connolly Flute Band from Derry, we joined a broad collective of Republican organisations and non-aligned Republicans on the march along O’Connell Street to the Garden of Remembrance to honour all 22 Hunger Strikers who died during the Prison Struggle in Ireland. Particular emphasis was given on the day to the 10 brave men who died in the H-Blocks of Long Kesh in 1981 on their 45th anniversary year.

AIA reaffirm our commitment to supporting commemorative events organised by our comrades in IDR and others, and to joining with like-minded Republicans in remembering and honouring our patriot dead. In line with our broad front principles, we remain committed to working alongside like-minded Republicans and Anti-Imperialists on political campaigns and initiatives in which we share common ground.

NATO OUT OF IRELAND 🇮🇪

30/08/2026

Join the anti-NATO protest! Tomorrow, Monday 31st, at 2:30 pm, the Institute of International and European Affairs will host Deputy Secretary General of NATO, Radmila Shekerinska. Alongside European Commission Vice-President Kaja Kallas and British politician David Milliband, Shekerinska will attend informal meetings on defence and foreign affairs in Wicklow this week.

The ostensibly public IIEA event tomorrow has been restricted to IIEA members only, as Shekerinska and the Free State are clearly aiming to avoid criticism and protest due to the Irish people’s overwhelming opposition to NATO accession. We will not allow our sovereignty to be eroded behind closed doors, by EU and NATO imperialists.

Join us this Monday 31st of August 2pm outside the Garden of Remembrance. EU and NATO out of Ireland!

Britain sets the rules, reformists play the game!

Chief administrator of British occupation, Andy Burnham’s declaration in Belfast this week that a referendum on Irish unity is “off the table” exposes the fundamental contradiction at the heart of the reformist strategy for national liberation. For almost three decades, the Irish working class has been sold a pup. The people have been told that managing British rule, rather than challenging it directly, would provide a pathway to ending it. Changing demographics would eventually deliver a so-called border poll and constitutional change. Yet the central contradiction remains that Britain retains total authority to decide whether and when such poll takes place. Under the existing arrangements, that decision rests with Britain’s so-called “Secretary of State” for the occupied Six Counties. This is routinely presented as a neutral constitutional mechanism when it is nothing of the sort. Britain has never been an honest broker in the affairs of Ireland or its people. It is an imperialist power with its own political, economic and strategic interests and no such indication exists that it intends to withdraw from Ireland. Britain cannot stand above the national question as an impartial referee when it is itself a principal actor within it.

This exposes the fundamental limit of the reformist path. The Irish people are told that national liberation can be achieved through institutions and constitutional mechanisms whose ultimate parameters remain determined by British Imperialism. They are expected to administer rule while waiting for Britain to decide when conditions are appropriate for them to vote on ending it. Dialogue follows dialogue. Talk-shop follows talk-shop. New constitutional initiatives are presented as the next ‘stepping stone’ towards national liberation. Yet the fundamental relationship of power remains untouched. Irish national self-determination remains conditional upon British consent. Reformism therefore substitutes the management of this contradiction for its resolution.

As Socialist Republicans, we reject the notion that administering the institutions of partition is the same as dismantling partition itself. We equally reject the idea that the Irish people should remain passive spectators to our own liberation, waiting for favourable demographics or the permission of British imperialism to determine our future. Nor will we accept attempts from Andy Burnham or others to counterpose the national question against the material struggles of the working class. Housing, wages, public services and the cost of living are not alternatives to national liberation. The struggle against exploitation and the struggle for national sovereignty are inseparable and the working class requires National Liberation to set about developing economic liberation and equality.

The Socialist Republican objective is therefore not constitutional change for its own sake. Nor is it simply the replacement of partition with a thirty-two county capitalist state. We are out for a Socialist Republic in which national sovereignty, political power and economic power rest with the working people. The Irish people will not be expected to wait indefinitely for the say-so of British Imperialism. A state that maintains its claim over part of Ireland cannot simultaneously present itself as the neutral arbiter of when the Irish people may exercise their right to national self-determination. Britain is not an honest broker because Britain is not a broker. It is a party to the contradiction itself. True national liberation must ultimately be the conscious act of the Irish people themselves. It requires the development of the people as an organised and politically conscious revolutionary force, with the working class at its centre, capable of determining its own national future by any means necessary rather than waiting for that future to be determined by British imperialism.

If Britain can declare a referendum on Unity “off the table”, then the limitations of constitutional nationalism are laid bare. Sinn Féin, People Before Profit and the SDLP’s constitutional strategies remain confined within parameters ultimately determined by the British state and it is time these opportunists and their followers recognised this very fact. The national question cannot be administered away nor should our right to national liberation be postponed until Britain decides the time is right.

The Irish people must become the conscious force in determining their own future.

The only objective is the Socialist Republic.
