We had a fantastic day at The Cooley Community Farmers Club.

The Carlingford Fire Service arrived with a full fire engine and all their gear, giving us an impressive demonstration of the training they carry out to stay prepared for real emergencies. Their skill, dedication, and community spirit were clear to see — truly an amazing group of people.

This was followed by a talk from Lorraine and Rosaleen of the HSE on su***de prevention and mental health — an important and timely subject in today’s world.

A busy day all round, feel free to join us next Friday at Cooley Kickhams GFC, all farmers and farm workers over 55 welcome. And don't forget. keep your Eircode handy and check those smoke alarms!
