Change for Kandle Queen 👸 in 2026 🥺

Hello Queens, when I was away at Christmas (how fab is the sunset on the picture above 🤩), I had time to think about where I want my business to go this year and I’ve made the decision to stop making candles 🕯️It’s been on my mind for awhile but it’s only when you get the break and are able to switch off and breathe that decisions seem easier! I’ll always remember that it was making candles and starting Kandle Queen which gave me a purpose when I needed it and will be so grateful for all the repeat customers, one off orders and reason to meet and collaborate with other small businesses 💕 It gave me such confidence in myself and the reason I connected with Lorna and which kickstarted my business and I made such amazing friends 😍

However, KANDLE QUEEN IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE 🥳, I’m just pivoting or reinventing with an attitude🤪 and will be continuing with my candle making workshops and have some great plans for them this year 🙏🏻 and I will also be doing other craft workshops as I have a folder full of crafts that I’m going to eventually get started this year and I will be announcing some very soon 🤗

My group is still going and I’m so looking forward to maybe growing this special WhatsApp group to others who want connection, genuine friendship, no BS, a place to vent, no saying ‘you’re fine’ when you’re not and a few laughs as well - the link is in my bio on my page or type CONNECT and I’ll send it on to you 😃

And……..I’m starting another page which will be a personal page sharing my day to day life (I am boring as anything but sure it might make me more exciting 😜), my overgrown toddler clothing collection 🙈, my jewellery addiction (it always fits no matter what size I am 😉) and my “Where’s Aisling …..” series (as requested kind of 😂) and anything else that pops up as well.

My brain is always working away on different things and I’ve spent most of my life trying to just focus on one thing and never could but you know what, I’m going to work with it and enjoy all of my pages exactly that way - roll on 2026 🥳

I’m so grateful to have made such great memories with my family and friends and new connections through this page and my workshops 🤩

I know it’s what you put into life you get back tenfold so I’m looking forward to more of these days in 2026 - bring it on 🙏🏻🙌

Thanks to everyone who follows me here, comments on my posts, keeps me motivated, attends my workshop and is genuinely a legend (there’s a lot of you) and I’m wishing you all a happy NYE and let’s see what the new year brings us all 💕

Happy St Stephen’s Day to everyone- I’m still celebrating Christmas 🎄 in the sun and enjoying every bit of it - less hustle and more calm (just the way I like it) - memories with my family is always the best 🥰 but couldn’t let the time go without a post - having time to think here is so much needed and thinking about what a year it’s been for Kandle Queen! 👸

2025 brought me the most wonderful surprise: it turns out candle-making workshops aren’t really about the candles at all (don’t tell the candles 😂) They’re about the stories shared over melting wax, (although Big Bertha (my wax melter 🤣) tested my patience a few times!), the friendships formed while choosing fragrances, (which is the hardest decision), the fun choosing paints and realising you can be like a child again (the aftermath would give any preschool a run for its money 😂), and the pure joy on someone’s face when they create something beautiful with their own hands and have the memory of the day to bring home 🤗

To everyone who joined me at a candle making workshop this year - you made every workshop feel like a creative celebration and I can’t even call it work! Believe me when I say I get more out of these days than you do and it leaves me buzzing for days/weeks after 😍

From the first-timers who are nervous about “messing up” (spoiler: you didn’t!) to the repeat visitors who just wanted another excuse to create again because it is addictive (or so I’m told 😜)

Thank you for your laughter, your creativity, and for trusting me to guide you through the magic of candle making. Those couple of hours we spend together - priceless 🥺 as the saying goes Carslberg don’t do candle making workshops but if they did it wouldn’t be a patch on a Kandle Queen workshop 😜

Here’s to more wax, more wicks, more creativity and more wonderful connections in 2026! Who’s ready to make a candle? 🥳
