Now people in Cork North-West know exactly where their TDs stand.

After a week of complete silence while families, workers and businesses cried out for support during the fuel and cost of living crisis… they’ve chosen to back this shambolic government.

During the last election, promises were made to be the voice of the people. To stand up, to speak out, and to represent the real struggles being faced across our communities.

It took just a year for that voice to go missing.

When it mattered most, when people needed leadership and action, they stayed quiet and now they’ve shown where their loyalties truly lie.

The silence from TDs in the Cork North-West constituency on the ongoing fuel crisis has been described as ‘deeply disappointing’.

Today, our local members were out across Millstreet, going door to door delivering Easter Lilies and commemorative cards to mark a very special milestone, the Centenary of the Easter Lily.

First introduced in 1926 by the women of Cumann na mBan, the Lily has been worn for a century to honour those who gave their lives for Irish freedom.

As we approach Easter, we invite everyone in the community to wear their Lily with pride, honouring our past while we continue to build for the future.

Easter Lilies now available.
Contact the page and we can send one out, or call into the Senator Nicole Ryan’s office to collect one. A lovely keepsake on the history of the Easter Lily is included this year to mark the 100th anniversary.
Wear your Lily this Easter with pride. 🇮🇪

Taoiseach and Fianna Fáil Leader Micheál Martin says that Winston Churchill was “a great wartime leader” and that he “created his own bit of difficulties for us” in Ireland.

Unbelievable.

Churchill is the man who sent the brutal Black and Tans to Ireland. The man who was British Secretary for War when the centre of Cork city was burned to the ground by Crown forces.

Churchill was hellbent on crushing the will of the Irish people to achieve freedom. He believed Britain had the right to subjugate and rule our country. Brave patriots fought and died for Irish independence.
Micheál Martin should hang his head in shame.

Coffee & Chat – Social Meet Up in Macroom ☕

This Saturday at 11am, we’re hosting our first Coffee & Chat social meet up spot by Burrito Addict (behind Dunnes), Macroom. Weather permitting even might take a walk.

This isn’t a political event it’s simply an opportunity for people to come along, have a coffee, meet new people, take a break from the week and hopefully make a few new friends along the way.

Sometimes we all just need a space to sit down, chat and connect with others in our community.

Each month we’ll be rotating activities and locations between Macroom and Millstreet so that people from across the area can join us if they’d like.

If you feel like popping in for a coffee and a chat, you’re more than welcome. No pressure, just good company ☕

Hope to see a few friendly faces there!

Great to see such a strong turnout at the Cork People’s Assembly last night in the Rochestown Park Hotel.

It was a really positive and respectful forum, with people from all walks of life coming together to talk openly about the future of our country and what a new, united Ireland could look like. There was a great energy in the room and a genuine appetite for change.

Important conversations are happening, and it’s clear that people want to shape a better, fairer Ireland together 🇮🇪
