New Maldron Hotel open at the junction of Clonliffe Road and Jones' Road, just down from Croke Park.

Part of the Dalata Hotel Group, the hotel has 200 rooms and 80 new jobs have been created. This is Dalata's first hotel with zero on-site carbon emissions.

This four star hotel cost around €40 million to build and opened on 14 May

Kellys, The Fairview Inn and the Players' Lounge. Sad to see it still rundown and closed

Checkered history but many enjoyed many good nights there with its unique layout. From boxing (Collins, Eubank, Benn, Bruno ...) to Leeds and Celtic occasions. The TV set up was great. Good food was always common

Enjoyed a reminiscing wander around the Fairview CY Pitch and Putt course on Philipsburgh Avenue. It's a fantastic amenity in the area that is full of history. Dublin's oldest pitch and putt course, established 1947. Check out a list of former Captains at the end of the video. New members are welcome.

Well done to all the businesses who were open for the Darkness Into Light Walk on the Clontarf Promenade.

Pieta House is an absolutely fantastic cause.

Was great to have some important nourishment available. Wait times longish but worth it.
