You can see that Midleton Hillwalkers take themselves extremely seriously. 🤣 Mary led a walk around Castlemartyr and its outdoor sculpture exhibition. There was some interactive art going on followed by tea and cake served in Mary's back garden.

Perfect weather for weekend walks on Bere Island and on Dursey Island, making the 10 minute trip on Ireland's only cable car and the only cable car that crosses open seawater in all of Europe. Aren't we lucky to live in such a gorgeous country and to explore it with such gorgeous people? Thanks to Mary and Michael for leading and sharing their local knowledge.

Glorious sunshine for our club weekend away to Wicklow.
Fabulous walks, weather, scenery and above all great company.
Thanks to Ruth and Sharon for leading the walks.
We hiked to Bray head, Djouce, Great Sugarloaf and Ballinastoe woods.
A great weekend was had by all.
