Big News from the Milford Projects!

As the work continues on the old Milford Hotel, we're delighted to announce that we've now acquired the Old Courthouse next door.

These two historic landmarks sit at the heart of Milford, and we're excited to begin bringing them back to life. Work on the Old Courthouse will be getting underway shortly as the transformation of both buildings continues.

We believe these two wonderful landmarks have the potential to play a major part in the future of our town, and we're looking forward to sharing the journey with you.

Update on Diamond’s Field

We’d like to update you all on works currently taking place in Diamond’s Field.

We are carrying out an archaeological survey on the site at the request of Donegal County Council. This is a standard part of the planning process and is carried out to ensure any potential archaeological features are properly identified and protected before any further works.

The machinery on site is being used solely for this survey work, and no development works are taking place at this stage.

We appreciate the community’s interest and will continue to keep everyone informed as the process continues.

A little update!

We’re changing the name of The Milford Hotel Project to The Milford Projects - Kelly Property Developments.

As we continue to branch out into a number of projects in the town and surrounding area (more news on this to follow!) - this new name better reflects the wider work now underway.

We’ll still be sharing updates on the former Milford Hotel development, along with news from future projects as they progress.

Milford Hotel in Watercolour

We were delighted to receive this beautiful watercolour painting of the Milford Hotel, sent in by French artist Igor Kravets-Akkerman, who has been painting scenes of Milford over the past few years.

The painting captures the character and atmosphere of the building and offers a wonderful glimpse of Milford as it might have looked in earlier times. It’s always great to see familiar landmarks re-imagined through art.

A look inside at the latest progress.

This video is a walkthrough of the Milford Hotel as it stands now, showing just how much has changed in a short space of time.

With old materials and debris fully cleared out, the interior is now far more open, giving a real sense of the scale and potential of the space.

It’s a major milestone in the clear-out phase and a clear sign that the project is moving forward at pace.
