π’ Non-Domestic Gas Works requirements are now in effect.
From today, 1 September 2026, the new regulatory requirements for Non-Domestic Gas Works apply.
This is an important change for the gas industry in Ireland, bringing regulated NDGW within the Registered Gas Installer (RGI) regulatory framework, subject to the applicable scope and exclusions.
Key implementation updates:

NDGW certificates are now available through the Electronic Certification System (ECS)
β
Notified Categories are now live on the RGI website
β
The revised Gas Safety Criteria Document has been published by the CRU
