Work in the non-domestic gas sector?

The Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process allows experienced installers to have their skills and experience assessed in advance of the regulation of Non-Domestic Gas Works.

Applicants are encouraged to submit their Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) application, along with supporting documentation, at the earliest opportunity to allow sufficient time for processing within the timelines outlined on the CRU website.

It remains the responsibility of each applicant to ensure that their completed application and supporting documentation are submitted in sufficient time for review ahead of the regulatory implementation date of 1 September 2026. From this date, it will be a criminal offence to undertake Non-Domestic Gas Works without being registered with the RGI Scheme.
