Festival organisers, producers and festival teams in County Sligo - have your say.

If you're involved in any aspect of festival-making in Northern Ireland or the border counties (which includes Sligo), Festivals Connect wants to hear from you.

A series of free in-person and online focus groups will help shape future training and skills development opportunities for the festival sector.

Missed the Public Art Consultation Meetings?

Sligo County Council Arts Service is inviting people with a connection to Collooney, Castlebaldwin, Dromore West and Easkey to take part in a short online survey.

Your feedback will help inform the artist briefs for upcoming public art commissions in these areas. We're interested in hearing about the places, stories, heritage, landscape and community priorities that make your area unique.

Whether you live locally, have moved away, work in the area, or simply have a strong connection to it, we'd love to hear from you.

Survey closes Sunday 12 July.

Our Artist CPD Programme 2026 continues this July with:

Creative Proposals & Funding Applications
with Annette Moloney

A practical two-part workshop for professional Sligo-based artists across all artforms exploring proposal development, funding applications and moving creative ideas forward.

Participants will also have opportunities for discussion, questions and informal exchange throughout the sessions.

Professional performing arts artists and collectives are invited to apply for this opportunity to develop new work through funding, dedicated space and professional support.

The award includes:
• €4,000 in funding
• 5 days incubation space at The Factory Performance Space
• A one-to-one session with an Arts Consultant focused on funding applications and project development
