Applications are now open to support the European Union Youth Conference (EUYC) 2026 taking place in Dublin from 27–30 September 2026.

Paid opportunities available for:

• Group Facilitators - lead discussions and workshops with young people, policymakers and experts from across Europe

• Group Harvesters - document discussions, support facilitators and help capture ideas and recommendations

Interested in film production?

Creative Heartlands and Cultural & Creative Industries Skillnet are offering a free Introduction to Film Production course taking place in Ballymote, Co. Sligo this summer.

The course runs from 22 June to 14 August 2026 and is open to people in the North West region who are unemployed or underemployed.

A great opportunity to gain hands-on experience across different areas of film production and collaborate on creating a short film.

A few moments from Friday’s Slow Trad Music Session in Number 45, High Street.

These relaxed and supportive sessions have been bringing together near beginners, returning players and trad enthusiasts for an enjoyable evening of music and connection.

There’s one final session to come this Friday, led by Sean Carroll.
