The 118th birth anniversary of Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur was celebrated today at Bir Bikram Memorial College in collaboration with Akhil Bharatiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM), Tripura. The programme was graced by the Hon’ble Higher Education Minister, Sri Kishor Barman, as the Chief Guest, with Sri Animesh Debbarma, Director of Higher Education, as the Guest of Honour. Sri Tirtharam Reang attended as the Special Guest. The Principal of the College, Dr. Mihir Paul presided over the program. A large number of students, teachers, academicians, and dignitaries from various academic institutions participated in the celebration. A colourful cultural programme highlighted the rich heritage of Tripura. A quiz competition on the life, achievements, and visionary contributions of the Maharaja was also organised, making the occasion both informative and inspiring for the participants.
