Today, a high-level delegation of the Indigenous Peoples Front of Tripura (IPFT) called upon His Excellency, the Hon'ble Governor of Tripura, Shri Indrasena Reddy Nallu Ji, at Lok Bhavan, Agartala.
Led by our respected IPFT President & ex-Minister Shri Prem Kumar Reang Ji, General Secretary Shri Swapan Debbarma Ji, and other youth and women leaders, a formal memorandum was submitted demanding the creation of a separate state ‘Tipraland’ under Articles 2 and 3 of the Constitution of India.
The demand for Tipraland is not just political, it is an existential necessity. For decades, the indigenous identity, rich culture, ancestral lands, and political rights of the Tiprasa people have faced severe marginalisation.
We stand firm and united in this historic democratic movement. Our journey for justice, dignity, and self-determination will continue until Tipraland becomes a reality!
