Continuing AKAM activities 4th program regarding HAR GAR TRADITIONAL PRACTICE OF AYUSH MEDICINE was organised at Govt. Higher secondary Manzmo .
Asha workers, Anganwardi worked, teachers, students attended the program.
Dr Irfana Khan spoke about the importance of program on occasion celebration of Azadi.
Dr Saima Mohideen spoke on different home remedies and their importance.
Cooperation of staff of school teachers, pharmacist ab Majeed sahieb was at its peak.
Pharmacist like Majeed sahieb must be encouraged as in short period of time he managed stage of program by his own influence

As AAZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAVA is being celebrated across the nation in view of 77th indipendence day on *'15th August'*, the department of AYUSH J &K under the dynamic leadership of Director AYUSH, Dr Mohan Singh Ji and under the supervision of District Ayush officer Anantnag, Dr Ali Mohd. Reshi Sir. A public health outreach program to make people aware of strength of Ayush system in public health area as per _*PANCH PRANA*_ pronounced by Honerble PM to feel proud of traditional heritage with theme *Har Ghar Ayush*. In this regard a program was conducted at Govt. MS Hiller Shahbad Dooru Anantnag, program was attended by PRI's, Ashas, Aangan wadi workers, social activists, school children, teachers. Dr Javaid Ahmad Wani, Dr Irfana Bashir, Dr Saima, Dr Asma, Dr Zafrullah, Mohd Hussain (Sr. Pharmacist), and Sabreena (YOGA instructor) gave a detailed presentations on common medicinal plants of J&K, their commercial value and their use in Primary Healthcare.

As per roaster issued by District Ayush Officer Anantnag a one day free medical aid camp was organised at Anganwardi centre Nanil K pora by the staff of Ayush H&W centre nanil in collaboration with ICDS staff and all the ASHA’s of the area today on 25/3/2023 in which free medicine was distributed among 205 beneficiaries and awareness regarding use of proper balanced diet in pregnant ladies and adolescent girls was given also information regarding immunoboaster medicine was provided to elderly persons.

One day medical aid and Ayush immunity boosting camp was organised by AYUSH department district anantnag On the eve of shab-e-Mehraj at Dargah-e-shareef khiram anantnag.
Today on 19/02/2023, a large number of people participated and were given awareness regarding AYUSH medicine.Besides free immunity boosters were distributed and medical aid facilities were provides to the devotees. People were given awareness, immuno boosting medicines free of cost.

On the occasion of World Unani Day celebrated every year on 11th February the birthday of *MASIUL MULK HAKEEM AJMAL KHAN SAHIB* worthy Director AYUSH UT of J and K *Dr MOHAN SINGH JI* praised the efforts and Dedication of Team Ayush Anantnag especially Dr.R.K.Pandita District AYUSH Officer Anantnag for taking the Department to new heights through utmost Perseverance. Medical Officers Dr. Shaheen Ahmad Mir and Dr.
Saima Mohi-u-din were also presented the award for appreciation by the Worthy Director AYUSH J&K.Performance of Ayush Anantnag was praised by the Higher Authorities for up keeping the spirit of providing best services to public in far flung areas of the District.

In pursuance to directions from Director AYUSH J&K and DAO Anantnag in connection with celebration of WORLD UNANI DAY 2023 , A medical aid cm awareness camp was held at newly opened AYUSH centre at Gousia Colony Mehmoodabad, Dooru on 03/02/2023. People were sensitized about World Unani Day and founder of Unani , Hkm Ajmal Khan sb and free AYUSH medicines were distributed among the beneficiaries.Camp was organized by staff of AHWC KAPRAN, RC GUND, NOWGAM, MEHMOODABAD . Also pharmacists from Manzmooh and Dandipora participated in the camp.A lecture was delivered by Medical Officer on importance of UNANI SYSTEM OF MEDICINE.
