Under the "TB Free Ballia" vision, a specialized training session was organized at CHC Siar (Belthara Road) by the District Tuberculosis Officer, Dr. Saket Bihari. The program focused on training Staff Nurses and Community Health Officers (CHOs) in Gastric Aspirate and Gastric Lavage techniques.Since young children often cannot produce sputum samples, these advanced techniques are crucial for the early and accurate detection of pediatric tuberculosis. This initiative ensures that high-quality diagnostic skills reach the grassroots level, enabling timely and better treatment for children in rural areas
