World environment day was celebrated in GHS Sumbal in collaboration with Municipality Sumbal.
During the event, the students and teachers along with members of Municipality Sumbal participated in cleaning the premises of school and adjoining areas, and the students in particular were made aware about the responsibilities and duties towards the environment.
At the last Pledge ceremony was held in which students along with the staff members promised to keep the sorroundings neat and clean, moreover use of non biodegradable waste like plastic and polyethylene to be stopped was more inherently stressed .
