The Red Bow Project is heading out to the
Kolar Gold Fields this December.

Kolar Gold Fields, or KGF as it is known locally,
lost its glitter about two decades back. The
gold mines were closed down in 2001 as the
gold ore reserves got exhausted after 150
years of continuous extraction. Thousands
were rendered jobless due to the closure of
the mines and became dependent on
Bangalore for their livelihood. An estimated
25,000 people commute 100 Kms from KGF to
Bangalore every day to work.

Our aim is to distribute care packages to at
least 60 families in need in KGF this
December. Each package will contain
- Essential Grocery
- Basic Toiletries
- A toy for each child in the family

You are welcome to join us in person to help distribute or
to contribute in cash or kind towards the
packages.

It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving
I’m so excited to start “The Red Bow Project” (Bangalore, India)
Over the next few days my family will reach out to help bless the homeless with something warm to wear and the basic ingredients to make a hot meal this Christmas. Our first goal is to provide 100 packs this December
