The 21st century. A time where rapes and murders of helpless victims have become so commonplace that the world has gone into panic. Every one of us is under the impression that enforcing stricter rules or harsher punishments will hinder those who wish to harm others. In reality, the fear of a greater punishment is bound to just cause the perpetrator to be more cautious. If a man wishes to rape or

murder, it is because he lacks the conscience that normal human beings possess that prevents us from wanting to harm those around us. A few rules and regulations will not help in changing how these sociopaths think. Before running to the government or authority for our personal protection, do we ever stop to think that we are actually capable of doing a lot more harm to a felon than he's probably aware of. Security starts at the self and the only way for us to lead more secure lives is to learn to protect ourselves and those who matter to us from all the possibly harm that the world could throw at us. The probability of being a situation where fighting back is the only means to escape unhurt or even alive is alarmingly high. Your government or police isn't going to be able to help you when you're cornered on a lonely street. You are your only hope of getting away unhurt. WHAT IS QIGONG?

Qigong is an ancient Chinese health care system that integrates physical postures, breathing techniques and focused intention.

The word Qigong (Chi Kung) is made up of two Chinese words. Qi is pronounced chee and is usually translated to mean the life force or vital-energy that flows through all things in the universe.

The second word, Gong, pronounced gung, means accomplishment, or skill that is cultivated through steady practice.

Together, Qigong (Chi Kung) means cultivating energy, it is a system practiced for health maintenance, healing and increasing vitality.
